Message imagine as being beneficial.. Just from personal experience, the NA Z32 does take a seat-of-pants hit in the low-mid range when testpipes are installed.

I just wonder if this effect may be beneficial on a turbo setup at those low RPMs where the turbos aren't producing a lot of boost - namely on setups with larger turbos where the boost doesn't start to come on until higher RPMs....

If for nothing else though, lowering that exhaust drone on the highway definately has its plusses.
